Ballito, Shaka’s Rock and Salt Rock are all within proximity to Simbithi Eco Estate, when considering accommodation. They are about 40 kilometres north of Durban and only 18 kilometres from King Shaka International Airport. (Uber operates in the area and an Uber Fare from the Airport to Salt Rock Hotel will set you back approximately R240.00, one-way). Dolphins are common on this stretch of the North Coast shoreline, hence the nickname Dolphin Coast. Ballito, the heart of the Dolphin Coast lies nestled between rippling fields of KwaZulu-Natal’s famous Green Gold and is flanked to the east by golden beaches with trending events & activities, food, businesses, shopping & services.
